2026 Old Hickory Pinewood Derby

When: Saturday, March 14th
Where: At Mineral Springs United Methodist Church located at 5915 Old Waxhaw-Monroe Rd., Monroe, NC
Time: Pinewood Derby Weigh-in starts at 11:00 am. Race begins at 12:00 pm
Entry Fee: There will be a $20.00 entry fee for Cub Scouts, siblings, and adults racing in the pinewood derby. Fee for all includes a patch. Scouts who sign up by March 2nd will also recieve a t-shirt! There will be ribbons and trophies awwarded for top winners of each class category. 

- Don't forget to select your t-shirt size if registering by March 2nd! 
- No fee for parents that are not racing.

2026 Spring Family Fest (Cub Scouts)

All Cub Scouts and their families are invited to join us for this fun and exciting weekend!

Activities/Events:

  • Target Sports including Archery, BB Guns, Sling Shots. 

  • Field Games including Gaga Ball, Basketball, Kickball, Tug-of-war, Bean Bag Tossing.

  • Bouldering (horizontal rock climbing)

  • Any much much more...please look for the Leader's Guide which will be posted soon.  

Fees: $35 EARLY Cub Scouts and $10 for Leaders & Siblings (no fee for siblings under Cub Scout age or non-registered parents). $50 Regular Cub Scout Fee.

No walk-ons or late registrations accepted for the event.

You will need to bring your own tent and sleeping bag. Participants are responsible for their food for the weekend.
