College of Commissioner Science

Continuing education for the commissioners who serve our units.

Have you ever needed to improve your skills as a commissioner? Are you working towards your Bachelors, Masters, Doctorate, or Post Doctorate in Commissioner Science? Do you want to meet commissioners from other districts or councils? Or do you just want to mull over some problems with your peers?

Then, the College of Commissioner Science is for you!

Whether you’re a new or experienced commissioner, the College of Commissioner Science can help you improve your skills. We will have classes for every facet of commissioning, including unit service, roundtable, commissioner administration, and more! Come join your fellow commissioners for a day of training, networking, food and fun.

The College of Commissioner Science is sponsored by Central North Carolina Council and Mecklenburg County Councils

  • Date: Saturday, October 11, 2025
  • Location: Rowan Cabarrus Community college (RCCC South Campus)
  • Time:  7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
    • Registration begins @ 7:30 AM in the main building lobby.
    • Classes will start @ 8:00 AM (Coffee and donuts provided).
  • Cost: $25 per person (including lunch)
